activities to offer with, it is a must visit place in a lifetime. If you
are yet undecided which place to visit this break, then opt for Navarra
and make the tip a vacation to be remembered all throughout your life.
Spain rentals are very popular in the Navarra region.
When you enter the city of Pamploma,
you will see the amazing quaint villages at the very outskirts. These villages
that are nestled among the valleys and hills add a special charm at the
very inception of the journey and give you the feel of the blessed. You
can stay some time here and enjoy the rural settings, potter happily among
the locals and drinking over the rich heritage and history from them, renting
a holiday in this region would give you the time to do this.
After you have had much of the local
flavor and the famous trout of the region, you can graduate forward to
Pamplona. |
|
The city of Pamplona is packed with
the great imposing buildings like the cathedral, the San Saturnino gothic
church, City Hall and Camara De Comptos. This city is also known world
over for revelry as the great festival of the Sanfermines and the incredible
bull running.
Estella is another city that is a
must visit as the gothic and the Romanesque architecture that it has is
world famous. The amazing Palacio de los Reyes and the San Pedro de la
Rua Cistercian Church are the most impressive works of art here. This is
one place that deserves a lot of cultural appreciation. It has great restaurants,
bars and a rustling local market as well.
After
having the very taste of this great culture, you can delve deep in their
history by visiting the Museo de Navarra.
This great museum lies towards the
north west of Town Hall and is housed in Old-Pilgrim hospice of the Nuestra
Senora de la Misericodia. The incredible collections at the museum are
displayed in over 34 rooms which includes pavement mosaics, Romanesque
capitals of cathedral cloister, pictures by the Becerra and the Morales
along with various gothic wall-paintings and the roman sculpture.
Then the Orreaga Roncasvalles' Royal
Church is also among the best of the traditional buildings and houses incredible
exhibit material. The museum has the gospel book of Navarra kings, vast
weapons collection, precious stones of Arab leaders of the Las Navas de
Tolosa battle along with many valuable paintings.
These exhibits are not only incredible
but provide visitor with an insight in to the rich past of the city as
well. So if you really want to make best of the vacations, just pack your
bags and fly right here. The diversity of the Navarra region make it a
very popular choice for a self catering holiday.
