Siena is a city that is located in
Tuscany, Italy. The historic center of Siena has been declared as a world
heritage site by UNESCO. The main influences for this decision are the
Duoma, Siena's Cathedral and the Piazza del Campo. The Piazza del Campo
is regarded as one of the most beautiful and breathtaking civic spaces
in Europe.
The Piazza del Campo is the center
square of Siena. It is a formation of the conjunction of the three hills
on which the city was formed. The site was built in the 13th century and
is considered to be one the greatest medieval squares in Europe. It is
in this square that the famous Palio is held bi-annually.
After undergoing Feudal rule and
Episcopal rule, the area broke up into a number of small autonomous regions
in 1115. In 1167 the commune of Siena was declared independent and by 1179

of Tuscany. The apartment is located at the prestigious Palazzo Braschi,
without any doubt one of the most fascinating buildings of the Village.
The building is from the XV Century, and it is considered one of the oldest
in the village. The apartment has kept the original fireplace and an arch
dating back to the XV Century, it has been completely furnished following
the Tuscan style. It is the ideal place for those looking for a little
quiet but also for who wants to discover new places full of traditions

Chianti" is located in the Castle of San Gusmè, an enchanting medieval

the boundary walls built by the Sienese in the 13th century, the antique
gates crowned with armorial bearings have been preserved during the centuries
and offer the visitor a moment of intense fascination. The Antico
Castello del Chianti is the ideal place for 2 persons willing to spend
their holidays enjoying some peace and quiet. However, it can easily accommodate
up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children under 10 years. It is located
on the second floor of the ancient and prestigious Palazzo Comunale (Municipal
Palace), the oldest building of the Castle of San Gusmé dating back
to the XIV century, and have a beautiful view of the main square of the

A one-bedroom self-contained
apartment on the outskirts of the historic town of Cetona. The apartment
is attached to the owner’s home on this beautiful, organic smallholding
overlooking vineyards, olive trees and sunflowers. It is in the country,
but still convenient for touring the rest of Tuscany and Umbria. The area
is stunning with incredible views. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the
town of Cetona where you can have coffee in the piazza with the locals.
There is also a shop that sells produce, one that sells meat, a bakery
and convenience store for anything else you may need. There are a few restaurants
in the town of Cetona itself. The apartment has a double-bedded main
room, bathroom with shower over bath, a full kitchen with gas cooker, fridge,
wood burning stove, dining table with four chairs, a large balcony with
table and chairs with views over the unspoilt countryside. The apartment
would usually accommodate two people possibly three by arrangement, as
in the main bedroom there is a futon sofa bed. |

your own vegetables and fruit, and eat out under the brilliantly-starred
sky of Tuscany. The apartments are suitable for from four to six
guests, and have been carefully and tastefully decorated and furnished
with period pieces and antiques. The traditional whitewashed walls offer
a contrast to the vibrant, warm colours of terracotta tiles and wooden
fixtures, with a result that is both airy and welcoming. |
