The Swiss Q Hotel Hauser
is in the heart of St. Moritz, and close to such famous boutiques as Bucherer,
Armani, Bogner, Versace and many many more. The cable-car to the ski pistes
can also be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The Hotel Hauser has been run
by the Hauser family since 1955, and became famous through its fine homemade
confectionary and desserts, and not least through its Engadine Nusstorte
(nut and caramel pie), available from the hotel shop. To add to the culinary
delights, the Hotel Hauser has a restaurant with terrace on the ground
floor, where Australian cuisine is one of the many specialities served
alongside regional and national dishes. The main speciality is the "Piöda",
where meat and vegetables are grilled on a hot stone at your table and
eaten with a range of sauces. The wonderful breakfast buffet provides something
for everybody, with a range of homemade bread and croissants. In summer,
the famous Hauser Jazz Brunches are held on Sundays on the terrace, providing
great entertainment by international jazz artistes. During the winter season
the Après Ski Bar „RooBar“ offers beer from Switzerland, Australia
and other countries as well as cocktails, warm drinks and snacks. |
