Navarra lies in the Northern Spain that is bordered by Basque Country, France, La Rioja and Aragon. It is a refreshing green and a mountainous place with Pamplona as its capital. Having great many activities and other historical and tourist places as great features, Navarra is a greatly preferred place for family vacations and trips.

As it is lively throughout the year and has some of the best cuisines, entertainment facilities and recreational activities to offer with, it is a must visit place in a lifetime. If you are yet undecided which place to visit this break, then opt for Navarra and make the tip a vacation to be remembered all throughout your life. Spain rentals are very popular in the Navarra region.

When you enter the city of Pamploma, you will see the amazing quaint villages at the very outskirts. These villages that are nestled among the valleys and hills add a special charm at the very inception of the journey and give you the feel of the blessed. You can stay some time here and enjoy the rural settings, potter happily among the locals and drinking over the rich heritage and history from them, renting a holiday in this region would give you the time to do this.

After you have had much of the local flavor and the famous trout of the region, you can graduate forward to Pamplona.

The city of Pamplona is packed with the great imposing buildings like the cathedral, the San Saturnino gothic church, City Hall and Camara De Comptos. This city is also known world over for revelry as the great festival of the Sanfermines and the incredible bull running.

Estella is another city that is a must visit as the gothic and the Romanesque architecture that it has is world famous. The amazing Palacio de los Reyes and the San Pedro de la Rua Cistercian Church are the most impressive works of art here. This is one place that deserves a lot of cultural appreciation. It has great restaurants, bars and a rustling local market as well.

After having the very taste of this great culture, you can delve deep in their history by visiting the Museo de Navarra.

This great museum lies towards the north west of Town Hall and is housed in Old-Pilgrim hospice of the Nuestra Senora de la Misericodia. The incredible collections at the museum are displayed in over 34 rooms which includes pavement mosaics, Romanesque capitals of cathedral cloister, pictures by the Becerra and the Morales along with various gothic wall-paintings and the roman sculpture.

Then the Orreaga Roncasvalles' Royal Church is also among the best of the traditional buildings and houses incredible exhibit material. The museum has the gospel book of Navarra kings, vast weapons collection, precious stones of Arab leaders of the Las Navas de Tolosa battle along with many valuable paintings.

These exhibits are not only incredible but provide visitor with an insight in to the rich past of the city as well. Famous citizens - Manuel Turillas was born the first of January, 1905. The "Maestro Turrilas" is one of the most popular composers of Navarra. He composed the most popular hymns of the main Sanfermines Associations, Aldapa, Anaitasuna, La Jarana, Muthiko, Oberena, as well as many others. Turillas is well-known for composing the Osasuna football club hymn.

Husa Plazaola, Irurtzun

Olite - a Historic-Artistic Site where traces of a Roman and Gothic presence can be found in its walled enclosure and in the splendour of the medieval court of Carlos III in its castle-palace.  It has two medieval churches: Santa María, Gothic from the 13th century and which has a beautiful façade and a magnificent reredos, is situated partly inside the palace, where it was once the chapel; and San Pedro, the oldest in Olite, with a Romanesque façade and cloister. It was built during the 12th century and substantially remodelled in the early 18th century. Only the façade remains of the original structure.

Parador de Olite, Olite, Navarra Province
The hotel occupies part of a majestic palace-castle that dates back to the 15th Century and has been declared a National Monument. The communal areas and some of the bedrooms are within the palace-castle itself, and the remaining rooms are housed in an annex building.  Its stone walls enclose a multitude of features that enhance the Medieval atmosphere of the building. Stained glass windows, archways and other typically Medieval elements can still be seen today inside and on the facade of the palace-castle.  Enjoy the delicious flavour of the local products offered in the Parador’s restaurant - The brick columns and arches in the restaurant area provide an excellent setting to enjoy local produce such as asparagus from Navarre, piquillo peppers, lamb al chilindrón (cooked with tomatoes and peppers) and cod ajoarriero (with garlic and peppers). 
Tudela - located in a very good geographic location, with the Ebro river, Lodosa, Tauste and Imperial canals. Fast trains with two lane electrified railways and two important freeways which join close to the city have served to make Tudela the capital of the "Ribera" the agrictural region of lower Navarra.  Of note are the city's festivals in honor of Santa Anna (St. Anne, mother of Mary) which begin the 24 of July at noon and continue for approximately one week. Street music, Bullfights and the Running of the Bulls are events which exemplify this festival.

AC Ciudad de Tudela
Set in a restored 19th century nobleman's mansion, the AC Ciudad de Tudela is located in the centre Tudela in Spain's Navarra region, 100 metres from the old city.
