| The Costa Cálida has
250 km of beaches, from el Mojón at the North near Alicante to Águilas,
South West Murcia, near Almería. One of the major destinations of
Murcia is the Mar Menor or Small Sea, the largest natural lake of Spain
and the largest salty lagoon in Europe, located by the Mediterranean. It
is separated from the mediterranean by a 22 km narrow sandy strip known
as La Manga del Mar Menor or simply La Manga. It is probably the most developed
and overcrowded holiday area of Murcia, despite being declared a Specially
Protected Area of Mediterranean Importance (SPAMIs) by the United Nations.
Mar Menor's muds are famous for their
therapeutic properties. Apart from Mar Menor, the Murcian coast from the
historical city of Cartagena to the frontier with Andalusia, that corresponds
to the Mediterranean Sea (colloquially Mar Mayor or Big Sea) alternates
wild and unspoilt rocky areas with large sandy beaches, with the towns
of Mazarrón and Águilas standing out. |

tower to warn against pirates situated on the headland at the southern
end of La Azohia) in one direction and the surrounding mountains behind
Puerto de Mazarron in the other. The sunsets from the terrace are fantastic.
On the roof terrace there are table and chairs to enjoy the al fresco experience.
The flooring throughout the apartment is terracotta tiling. The apartment
is fully air-conditioned and is furnished to high standards with attractive
wrought iron beds, comfortable leather sofa, some lovely hardwood furniture,

fully fenced garden is situated in a quiet location but within easy walking

to make the facilities in the villa second to none to cater for the golfer,
a group of friends and family alike. The property is on 2 floors with the
front door leading to a spacious hall , Turn left and you enter a modern
fully fitted kitchen complete with oven and four ring ceramic hob with
extractor fan, microwave, toaster, large fridge freezer, kettle and the
all important dishwasher. There are all the utensils you would expect in
any modern kitchen and there are more than enough plates, plates and cups
(including plastic for outside use) for 6 people. Off the kitchen is the
utility room Washing Machine, Iron, iron board and clothes horse.
