The hotel greets it guests with a ground floor wine shop instead of a reception desk, where you may find glamorous books and delicate pieces of art related to the wine cult.

All the spaces of this four-storey building pay tribute to the city from different eras and perspectives.

There are only 3 rooms at Casa Azul - all of a similar size, but all different and certainly all unique in their own way - one is baroque, another a fusion of East meets West and the third one more contemporary with a rooftop terrace and views stretching across Valencia.

The hotel has no restaurant, however breakfast is available and can be taken on the terrace. The terrace, a cool and calm place, provides a wonderful view of the city.

Valencia is Spain's third largest city and the venue of the 2007 and 2009 America's Cup. It is where paella was first tasted and simmered over a wood fire. 

The city also lays claim to the Holy Grail and is lucky enough to have fantastic weather most of the year round. 

The city also hosts the mid-March Festival of Las Fallas, Europe's wildest street party not for the faint hearted! Valencia is a vibrant, friendly, mildly chaotic place that boasts an outstanding fine arts museum and a charming old quarter.
