is a coastal town in the southwest of Cyprus. In Antiquity two locations
denoted Paphos: Old Paphos and New Paphos. The currently inhabited city
is New Paphos. Paphos is the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek
goddess of love, sex, and beauty, and the founding myth is interwoven with
the goddess at every level. In Greco-Roman times Paphos was the island's
capital, and it is famous for the remains of the Roman Governor's palace,
where extensive, fine mosaics are a major tourist attraction. The Apostle
Paul visited the town during the first century. The town of Paphos is included
in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's

bedrooms, the master has a KING sized bed and opens onto a balcony with
a table and chairs overlooking the pool. The second bedroom has two large
single beds and both rooms have large fitted wardrobes, have free air conditioning/heating
and ceiling fans (some properties charge extra). Weve invested in quality,
comfortable beds linen and towels are provided. We have insect screens
on all the major windows, so in the warm weather you can have the windows
open without fear of mosquitoes. The bathroom has a bath/shower and a heater
for winter stays.

in January 2005. It is a three bedroomed house occupying a corner position.
It boasts a roof terrrace, a balcony, two patios, small garden areas on
three sides and private off road parking. Inside there is air-conditioning
in all the bedrooms and in the lounge/dining area. The units double up
as heaters for the cooler winter evenings, and there are halogen heaters
too, should they be required. Please note when comparing prices that some
places charge extra for air-con, which could add up to quite a sizeable
amount for a property this size.

A two minute walk takes you to the sandy Faros Beach, where you can sit

sites. It is a very unique place to explore. A two minute walk in
the other direction brings you the many cafes, restaurants, tavernas bars
and all amenities. A 15 minute walk takes you to Paphos Harbour and Tourist
Area. The old fort at the harbour is a famous landmark. Tavernas, cafes,
bars and seafood restaurants line the harbour. Take a boat trip from here,
or just sit and People Watch.
