The
Hotel Gollner has its roots back in the nineteenth century. Originally
it served as a coaching station to which the Gollner family gradually added
both wine-cellar and restaurant. In 1961 the hotel which had, till then,
been called „zum Schimmel“ („The Horse“), was completely rebuilt and given
the name „Hotel Gollner.“ The horse on the roof -gable commemorates the
former name.
