The
new SPITZ HOTEL is based on a worldwide unique project. The first culture
and style hotel has been created. With a view to 2009 - Linz as the European
cultural capital - cooperation has been undertaken with the most important
cultural centres in Linz.
Every
floor in the new SPITZ HOTEL is meant to be orientated on an art- or cultural
centre in Linz. This form of cooperation is unique worldwide. What was
and is important is cooperation with regional artists, such as ISA Stein
(architecture, and overall conception), Andreas Thaler (table objects,
lounge couch), Ernst Mitterndorfer (lamps and lighting installations),
as well as the numerous students at the Kunstuniversität Linz, which
were able to realise the "Design It" project on the entire fourth floor.

| Various
themes give their accent on the floors. Accessories, such as the writing
desks, lamps and lighting installations and pictures that were designed
especially for the new SPITZ HOTEL were also coordinated with the themes.
Suitable
for the new hotel, a logo and a website were created together with "The
jungen Wilden", a young Linz advertising agency. Clear in typeface and
statement.
But
SPITZ should also appear as a brand - the "trademark" is the star from
the Spitz logo that has been used for years. This star is used throughout
the hotel in various details.
The
aim was to create a unique, individual experience for the guest - not only
for visitors to Linz but also for the inhabitants of the city.

Rooms are individually decorated and furnished. Beds come with Select Comfort
