has the largest skiable area in the Pyrenees, and is one of southern Europe's
leading ski resorts. It was created in 2003, when the resorts of Soldeu
el Tarter and Pas de la Casa Grau Roig were connected. Grandvalira is located
in the north of Andorra, near the French border. It has a skiable area
of 193 km, with slopes of different levels of difficulty. It is suitable
for all ages and all types of skier. There is a freestyle zone and a ski
school, with specialist instructors and children's classes. The resort
also has a wide range of bars and restaurants. |
